Harris Cartier LLP, a firm founded in Slough in 1922 and now also with offices in London, is one of the largest solicitors in the Thames Valley. We have specialist departments providing services to both business clients and private individuals.
On 1st May 2005 Harris Cartier became a Limited Liability Partnership. This important move aligned us with modern business practice and allowed us to adapt to a dynamic business environment which is increasingly demanding higher levels of service.
For some years prior to this we had worked in association with Lawrence Cartier and his practice Cartier & Co from our London offices in Lincoln's Inn. The change of name, to Harris Cartier from Harris Cartwright, recognised this close association and the greater level of service that we are able to offer to our clients. Lawrence Cartier, who initially agreed to be a Consultant to Harris Cartier, whilst continuing in practice as Cartier & Co, is now a Partner in Harris Cartier.
London Office
Out of the joint venture the London office has grown and is now established in its offices in Lincoln's Inn Fields. We offer a full range of commercial and private client legal services, including catastrophic Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence, Corporate and Commercial transactions and, through Lawrence Cartier, complex multi jurisdictional dispute resolution and litigation. Our close involvement with Eurojuris International, an association of European lawyers, allows us to provide our clients with representation throughout Europe and beyond.
Slough Office
From our offices in the heart of Slough we provide specialist services to commercial clients and private individuals. The firm has come a long way from its origin as a general practice. We believe that our clients deserve the best, so all our lawyers specialise in their fields thus giving expert, pragmatic advice at all times.
In addition to our legal services, our independent financial advice department is also based here giving advice to both corporate and private clients.
Our history and heritage is very important to us and we are proud to have provided legal services to the people of Slough and the Thames Valley since 1922. The requirements may have changed and the need for specialist advice become more important but we still pride ourselves on giving all our clients that advice with the same personal attention they have come to expect.
