Harris Cartier traces its origins back to 1922 and, although our history is very important to us, we have evolved beyond recognition in recent years. We now operate from our thriving London office in Lincoln's Inn Fields in addition to our office in Slough where we are one of the largest legal practices in the Thames Valley area.

Many of our specialist lawyers are leaders in their chosen fields, and all our lawyers recognise the importance of working closely with their clients to identify from the first meeting the legal services they genuinely need. Part of this process involves considering the best funding options and, in addition to traditional funding methods, we have a long track record of acting on the basis of Conditional Fee Agreements and via legal expenses insurance. We are also one of the few legal practices in the country that has experience of running cases with the benefit of Third Party Litigation Funding which, in appropriate cases, can enable high value litigation to proceed.

We recognise that too many law firms and other legal service providers treat their clients like a commodity, operating inflexible systems often with minimal input from legally qualified staff. We are proud to be different, finding individual solutions for your legal needs.

From our London office at the heart of the UK's legal system we are a stone's throw away from the City, the Royal Courts of Justice, International Courts of Arbitration and leading barristers with whom we regularly work. We are also well connected to major road and rail networks throughout the UK, and close to City airport and Heathrow, all of which means that we are easily accessible to domestic and international clients.

Our main focus in London includes corporate commercial transactions, commercial litigation and dispute resolution, employment law, sports law, complex high value personal injury and clinical negligence and high quality private client services.

Throughout many of these disciplines there is a genuine international element, with some matters involving multiple jurisdictions and claims running into hundreds of millions. Our international presence is further reinforced by our membership of Eurojuris and its specialist International Business Group.

Our Thames Valley office enables us to provide high quality legal services both locally and further afield.

From this office our specialist solicitors advise in relation to commercial property, commercial litigation and dispute resolution, family law, employment disputes, clinical negligence and personal injury.

This site provides further details of the services we offer. However, if you require further information please call us, or contact us using the details to the right.
