Senior Litigation Partner is awarded ‘Best in their Field’ accreditation by leading Legal Publication

Chris Gooderidge, Senior Litigation Partner at harris cartwright has for another year running been recommended as a leader in his field by The Chambers and Partners Legal Guide to the UK best legal professionals.

The ‘Leaders in their Field’ accreditation is very prestigious and is awarded only after extensive market research has been carried out.

The Chambers & Partners Guide is audited by the British Market Research Bureau (BMRB). As part of the audit process BMRB interviewers contact lawyers who have already been researched and nominated for achievement by The Chambers and Partners researchers. The interviews are designed to achieve a realistic balance, and for this purpose half the interviews are conducted with the lawyers and half with clients who have experienced the service.

Chris has an outstanding record and has led a number of high value and complex claims. These include his involvement in claims for catastrophic injuries suffered following paediatric cardiac surgery at the Bristol Royal Infirmary (subject of the “Bristol Heart Baby” inquiry) and he was part of the team who dealt with the spinal injury case which led to the highest award for personal injury in the Courts of England and Wales, at £9.3 million.
