Sponsored Walk for Headway Charity

On Sunday 16th May, Harris Cartier's Vanessa Hills, Toni Wilkie and Matt Tuff took part in the Ten Bridges Walk for the charity Headway South West London. This was a 6.2 mile walk between Vauxhall Bridge and Tower Bridge in Central London. Vanessa, Toni and Matt are personal injury solicitors, specialising in brain injury and spinal injury cases.

The Headway South West London charity is based in Wimbledon and provides support for people with acquired brain injury and for their carers and families. They have a monthly support group, with activities such as excursions, social events and talks by specialist speakers. They have just started a pilot course that offers counselling and support to carers and families of those with brain injury. They also provide a monthly newsletter that keeps their members updated with recent developments and opportunities. Headway South West London is one of a number of independent Headway charities across the country.

The Ten Bridges walk was a lot of fun and thankfully the rain held off, just about! Thanks to the generosity of colleagues, family and friends, we were able to raise approximately £400 for Headway South West London.
